Hello Julio,

This is actually a pretty common error this year with APS CS6.

What you're going to want to do is attempt to repair file errors in the system.

1. Go to your start menu and select 'Run'.

2. Type in 'cmd' and press OK.  This will bring up an MS DOS window.

3. Type in 'chkdsk c: /r'

4. You should receive the message 'Chkdsk cannot run because the volume is in use by another process'. Type 'Y' and hit enter.

5. Type exit and hit enter.

6. Reboot your computer as you usually would, upon the restart Chkdsk should automatically begin scanning and repairing.

7. Upon completion, try starting your Photoshop CS6.

This should resolve any of the 0xc000007b issue from CS6. (On a side note, if you're on Windows 7, you can also boot your computer from your windows 7 disk by placing the disk in the drive and restarting windows. It will give you the option to press any key to boot from disc, press any key. You can then use Recovery to also attempt to 'Repair Your Computer')

Before installing Adobe Photoshop CS6 Master Collection, make sure it is fully compatible with your computer. Photoshop CS6 Master Collection supports Windows XP Service Pack 3 and Windows 7 Service Pack 1.

It requires at least Intel Pentium 4 or equivalent AMD Athlon 64 processor with 64-bit support, 2 GB RAM, 14.5 GB free hard drive space, 1280 × 900 screen resolution, video card with OpenGL 2.0 support with at least 512 MB video RAM, sound card with ASIO protocol or Microsoft Windows Driver Model support, DVD drive, Java Runtime Environment 1.6, Eclipse 3.7, and QuickTime 7.6.6.

If you verify that your system is fully compatible, try restarting the computer and try again. See if this works. If this doesn’t fix it, check if you are using 64-bit Microsoft Windows. If you are then start the 32-bit version of Adobe Photoshop first. It will start the “Adobe CS6 Service Manager (32-bit)” module. Press CTRL + SHIFT + ESC to bring up the Windows Task Manager.

Select the “Processes” tab and look for “Adobe CS6 Service Manager (32-bit)”. If you see this module already running, exit the 32-bit Photoshop and start the 64-bit Photoshop. See if it runs properly without throwing any error.
