Adobe Photoshop CS6 fails to Auto-Blend Layers

Hello,          

I got the following error message doing some focus stacking using Adobe  Photoshop CS6 and shows the error saying “Could not complete the Auto-Blend Layers command because of a program error”.

Help me to fix this issue as soon as possible.

Adobe Photoshop CS6 fails to Auto-Blend Layers

Hi Stuart!

Have you tried saving the file, closing and reopening the document?

It might make the layers work after that.

However, if the issue reappears, this is not a long-term solution, so I would recommend changing the RAM settings a bit, because the problem might come from there.

Go to Preferences, then to Performance and raise your available RAM a little, to 1500 MB for instance, depending on what your current settings are. This should solve the problem.
