Adobe Reader error on Citrix server

Hello,

After installing Adobe Reader 9 on a test Citrix server. I received the following error:

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

Program: C:Program FilesAdobeReader 9.0ReaderAcroRd32.exe

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application’s support team for more information.

Adobe Reader error on Citrix server

 

 

Marvin,

There are three things you should check:

1. Go to the “Everyone” account in the Application Data folder and see if it has a special permission of “Deny”. If so, remove this setting.

2. Also, check the C:UsersAppData folder and make sure the LocalLow directory exists.

3. Ensure that read access is permitted for all users on every parent folder for Application Data. Each user must have read permissions for every directory in the path.
