Adobe Reader Error Opening a PDF File
Hi everyone!
Adobe reader is undoubtedly a very useful software to open and in some versions to edit the PDF files yet, it is sometimes very tricky to handle specially in the networked environment. However, the error you mentioned has a very common error. To solve it try these.
Try to open Adobe Reader in Protected Mode.
Open Adobe Reader X > Edit > Preferences > General > Enable Protected Mode at startup. If the problem persists try this : Start > Run > Regedit
Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREAdobeAdobe Acrobat10.0Adobe Viewer.
If full path doesn't exist, simply create missing keys
Create a new DWORD entry EULA Accepted For Browser and set value to 1
Hope it works.

Adobe Reader Error Opening a PDF File
I would advise you to ask your clients nicely to do this on their system, or if possible update to a newer version of Reader, which now is available:
-
Open 'regedit'
-
Brows to 'HKLMSOFTWAREAdobe'
-
Create it, if it doesn't exist, “Adobe Acrobat10.0AdobeViewer”
-
Create under its new key “EULAAcceptedForBrowser” with set value '1'
And now the file will open, as it should be opening.
There is another bug that pops up this sort of message, because the file being accessed had capital letters in its file name. So the solution, if this is the problem would be to change the entire file name to small letters.
