Adobe Reader x (10.1.x) update receives “Error 2203.Database:”

Hi experts,

I was trying to install the program using Windows Installer then after few seconds I received an annoying database error message. Have you any idea to solve this error? I would be greatly appreciated.

Error 2203. Database: C;tempacroread.msi. cannot open database file. System error -2147287035.

Adobe Reader x (10.1.x) update receives “Error 2203.Database:”

Hi Kristopher,

                This error is a permission issue, however aside from that it can also be an issue with MSI. Invoking MSI to do the update may not be the right way to do it. You may want to MST or Msitran.exe from SDK instead. Make sure that you do an admin install also for it to have more chances to fully install the update.
