Advantages and disadvantages of pathname translation
One of the disadvantages that comes out clearly while installing Nettalk is that Nettalk does not allow sharing without proper settings in place, for you to install to versions in the same systems you have to set every detail properly. Nettalk's pathname's installation's advantage is that it can allows upgrading whether or not if no CNID was used earlier and in a simple way.
Another advantage is that it has many approaches that can be used to enhance upgrading not just one way and if it fails you get stuck. It is also possible to launch a test server on one machine with Nettalk and if properly done no disruptions will be experienced. This are some of the advantages and disadvantages that come out clearly.
