After Effect crashes during installation

Hello trouble shooters,

Something went wrong and some application crashed. I am in the situation to format my system, after that I do re-installation of all the software. But I faced problem only with this After Effect, got an error message in the initially setup. Not able to continue further, after effect has crashed. Does anyone know how to fix the problem? Help is appreciated.

After Effect crashes during installation

Hello,

Here is the technique to solve this issue.

1. Try uninstalling and re-installing the software. Use Wise Program Uninstaller to remove all registries and files left after uninstallation.

2. Go to “%APPDATA%RoamingAdobeAfter Effects9.0”.

3. Delete the pref files.

4. Uninstall QuickTime and iTunes.

5. Run the software as an administrator.

6. Run in Windows XP compatible mode.

Now you should have run perfectly.
