After running macro. PowerPoint stops working.

Why is my Microsoft PowerPoint 2013 stop working after I run a macro? A friend recently send a template macro to me and I run the macro in my Microsoft PowerPoint 2013 office program, but after I run the macro in Microsoft PowerPoint, the program close unexpectedly and since the program is not working. Although, other office programs are working. I have checked the macro, and noting fishy was found. How do I make the program to work again?

Hello Cyril L Edmonds,  There seems to be no reason that your Microsoft power point  2013 does not work. There is no problem in power point. There can only be 2 reason for this problem. First reason, You are using  error full macro. There would defiantly be something fishy in the macro. Other reason you are not know how to exactly run the macro.  This is the exact procedure.
