Age of Empire 3 unhandled exception

Hi.

I formatted my disk and reinstalled Windows 7 (same version before installation). But now I cannot install Age of Empire 3 which I had already installed earlier. The error is shown below. What went wrong and both the game and OS are the same as before?

Age of Empire 3 unhandled exception

Hi Thelma

I recommend you Install the age of the Empires 3 using the express install in this way all the default settings and folders will be save and also try wiping it before installing it actually works.

But before installing the game scan your computer first for unwanted registry.

Age of Empire 3 unhandled exception

Hello,

You can start your computer with a clean startup and see it fixed.

1. Go to Start menu >> All programs >> Accessories >> Run >> type “msconfig” and hit enter.

2. On the “General” tab, select “Selective Startup”.

3. Uncheck “Load Startup Items”.

4. Go to “Services” tab. Check “Hide All Microsoft Services” and then “Disable all”.

5. Press “OK” and restart your PC. Then run the setup again.
