AIX error when using IBM AS

I am a IBM As/400 users. I work as a system Administrator.  We have around 400 new arrivals to the company, so I set all the configurations but still  cannot access the AS.

So please help me.

AIX error when using IBM AS

Yes, this a very regular error in basic configurations. You did not configure TCP/IP on the AS/400 properly. Also, you did not define the host and domain name on the AS/400.

AIX error when using IBM AS

Helloraj123,

I am a solution Specialist in AIX. I said thenox123 is correct. But in detail I can say that you must follow these:

• Verify that TCP/IP is configured properly.
• Use the command "GO CFGTCP".  
• Verify that a TCP/IP host table entry has been added for your system
• Verify that a host name and domain name have been configured for your system
