Alexa Often Activates Without Warning

I am using Amazon Echo. Alexa often activates without warning. Whenever I am listening to a podcast or watching a show on TV which uses the word Alexa it initiates on its own which is really irritating. Is there a way I can deal with this?

Alexa Often Activates Without Warning

Stay calm. Do not be irritated. You need to change the wake word by following these steps:

1. Open the Alexa app.
2. Then go to Settings and select the device from the list.
3. Now click Wake Word
4. Choose a word different from Alexa.

Though this is not a perfect solution, it can surely decrease your tension.
