All NI software requiring activation fails to start

Hi,

After installing the data acquisition software from NI that is the NI DAQ I am now faced with a big problem. All NI software now fail to start and issue the message shown below. Has anyone experienced this problem before?

Error: The instruction at “0x7c91aa01” referenced memory at “0x017c2258”. The memory could not be “read”. Click OK to terminate the program

Click on CANCEL to debug the program

Hello Laurie! Your NI License Manager has really got annoying error. If it can’t read a memory, it is hard to fix it.

The problem mainly occurs if you have got 99+ license files in the program’s license directory. The path should be: <National Instruments>SharedLicense ManagerLicenses

Download the License Migration Utility exe and run it. If the following image appears, it means that your problem is solved.

Otherwise, if the following box appears, select the unused programs and then press “Next”. So, the unused license files will be moved and make you free from the pain.

Also, if possible, uninstall the unused programs.
