Don’t need to format your PC, when you are using genuine software. Run the RemoveWGA 1.2 from the following Link and restart the system. i think it will be resolved

It seems that there is something wrong with your installation of Microsoft Windows since the problem temporarily disappeared after updating your operating system or after doing the Live Update on your operating system. Try restarting your computer. After booting, check your machine for any possible errors. Use a disk utility application to check the system. For a much thorough diagnostic test on the machine, use disk utility applications like Norton Utilities, PC Tools Performance Toolkit, or Norton SystemWorks.

If this doesn’t solve your problem, try formatting your hard drive and then install Microsoft Windows again. But, if on the other hand, the problem appeared again, this only indicates that you are not using the genuine version of the operating system. At this point, the only solution is to purchase and install the original and licensed copy of the platform.

I don't think reformatting is the only option. It could be brought about by a missing registry key or could also be due to lack of permission in registry keys. Secure a copy of Windows Editor Version 5.00 and copy it to a notepad. Save the text file in profilelist.reg. After doing it, merge profilelist.reg and restart your pc. This may help eradicate your problems.
