Amber Light and Blinking Green Color

Upon checking one of our HP DL180 Server, I noticed that one of the Drives has an amber light the other one is blinking green color. I have no idea on what this lights means. Can you share something or give me an idea on how i can resolve this?

Amber Light and Blinking Green Color

Hello Jose

All the HP servers come along with a Server Maintenance and Service guide. The guide for your server is available for download from here. Table 7 of this manual explains the activity of LED's. For your situtation it states as follows

Steady Amber Light : The drive has not been selected or is in a failed state

Blinking Green light: The drive is rebuilding.
