Is AMD quad core enough for playing high end games?

Hello guys,

I want to know is AMD quad core enough to play high end games in laptop. Let me explain you in detail that I love playing games and thus, I want to buy a laptop to play games and I want to buy a laptop that is compatible to play all kind of games. So please let me know the answer.

Is AMD quad core enough for playing high end games?

Hello,

You didn’t mention what model number of processor you have installed on your laptop. There are many quad core processors manufactured by AMD where there are slow processors and fast processors as well.

Playing game definitely requires highly fast processor. There are many processors for laptop but the least should be those processors which speeds at least 3 GHz because most of the games require high calculation and only 3 GHz processors are able to perform such heavy tasks easily.

Next, the game’s graphics also matters. If you have got a good graphics card, low processors can also load the game, for example, 2.5 GHz processors can run those games.

Check your processor’s speed using “msinfo32.exe”. From Start menu, type “msinfo32.exe” >> hit Enter. From “System Summary” section, find out “Processor”. It will show you how speed do your processor have.

Is AMD quad core enough for playing high end games?

For a game lover, so yes, AMD Quad-Core is really cool for playing big end games. You can play games like Black ops, GTA IV,FIFA 13 , Assassin Creed , Dead Island ,Sky rim, Cricket 2012 and many others and if you have 1 GB graphic card with it you can play even more big games like GTA V,FIFA 14 and many others. All in all it`s good for gaming.
