I am running Windows 7 Ultimate x86 32-Bit PC. It works fine even if there are issues on drivers. I am a computer programmer and currently working with actionScript and VB and relying ReadyBoost 4GB virtual memory. My RAM is only 1GB, will it be enough? Please send some guidance. Thank you.
Amount of memory to be use in ReadyBoost
Hi there
Although ReadyBoost memory can not be equal to RAM, it increases the RAM to some amount. I think it is just enough for you to do programming and other processes. Windows 7 requires minimum of 1 GB of RAM. Are you using a USB drive with Readyboost, USB drive is the most suitable option. Though using it with Readyboost could decrease it's lifespan but not by much.
Keep all the drivers up to date to prevent any issues. Automatic Updates will take care of it if you have it on. See Automatic Updates in the Control Panel.
Best of luck
