Is anti-virus enough to keep my PC safe from all threats?
Hello,
What you’ve asked is very difficult to answer perfectly. We think that antivirus or internet security programs are enough for our security which is completely a false talk. Nowadays, this saying is not 100% true.
Security software are developed with a database that has included with the known threat types and their behaviors that help the program detect any malware. But every day, more and more threats are being released online and their working method has also changed. They work even more efficiently and there’s a good chance for their stealth mode that the infection will not be detected. About in 30%-40% case, security programs fail to provide the right security.
Also, there are many viruses released which are very much aggressive. Even the developer doesn’t know quite well about his virus’s behavior how much dangerous it might be. If such a virus exploits on the web that will bring any electric machine down, there’s nothing to do.
Like Heartbleed, there are many threats still unknown and working to achieve their goal.
I recommend to use any good security software for relief but relying on them isn’t 100% secure.
Is anti-virus enough to keep my PC safe from all threats?
No, if you are using anti-virus that only removes viruses then it`s not enough because there are few other things which can also attack your PC like malware , adware and you also need a firewall to increase your protection. So, you need to have an anti-spyware, anti-virus and firewall protection or you can install those anti-virus who have all these features like McAfee or Avast.
