I have windows XP with 1 GB RAM. My antivirus software (Panda Cloud Antivirus Free Edition 1.5) is shown in the center of my monitor. It does not close and half of the screen is blocked by it. I can work on its sides but not the place where it is shown. I tried to cancel it but it would not cancel. How can i resolve this?

Hello,

Your problem is commonly experienced by some other user of that particular anti-virus. But my only suggestion to you is to try to access the anti-virus in the net click this link Download Link1.

And look for possible solutions, there is already infected with your PC. The anti-virus might not properly installed or upgraded that's why there is unnecessary faults occurs on your PC.

Maybe there is a fault in the installation of Panda Cloud Antivirus Free Edition 1.5. Maybe during its installation it encountered an error and made its logo to display permanently during boot up.

You really can not cancel it because it is only a logo that is usually displayed just like any other program while it is being loaded. The software logo should only appear for a couple of seconds and disappear afterwards. But here it became permanently.

Since it does not leave the screen, why not uninstall it temporarily and run a disk check to check the drive’s file structure.

  1. Right-click on drive C and choose Properties.
  2. Click the Tools tab.
  3. Click the Check Now button.
  4. Choose Automatically fix file system errors from the options and then click the Start button. Wait for it to finish.

After the disk check install again Panda Cloud Antivirus Free Edition 1.5. In case the logo still appears permanently on the center, replace your antivirus. It has a faulty installation.
