Hi experts,

I am looking for an antivirus program that is for free and have the best security service for my windows XP service pack 1 operating system.

I will be doing some downloads for future use and I need an antivirus to protect all my important files in my local disk drives.

I need your help give me some information.

Antivirus program for xp sp1

Hello.

There are several antivirus software's that are good and can protect files from virus.

But these software's do make your system slow as they are large in size.

To overcome this problem Microsoft came up with a security solution.

“Microsoft security essentials” is free for download and less in size.

This software is also very effective.

Antivirus program for xp sp1

Hi..

There are many good internet security programs and anti-virus programs. But they are expensive.in your situation you need a free one. So I can suggest two antivirus programs for you.

1. Avast anti virus

2. Microsoft Security essential (MSE)

You can download those using links. In my point of view MSE is better but for MSE you should have genuine windows copy.Hi..
