Any association from XDP file system to adobe live cycle cs3?

User has to pen xdp file in pdf format but it opens in xml format in IE is there any association from xdp file system to adobe live cycle cs3?

Hi Challamalli,

The XDP data can be save into database, sent into another service for manipulation, processing and can be saved for later use.  XDP is XML 1.0 compliant. In Web browser like  IE, applicants file a form that is rendered by Form Service (livecycle ES2 service)

XDP maybe a standalone document or it may in turn carried  inside PDF document. You are asking if it is associated with livecycle CS3? have you tried editing the users  box? I think OS will let you do that, live cycle has an option and preference to let you open xdp files in default. Live cycle CS3 is part of squre icon pack.
