Hi All,

I used to run Support Lifecycle Policy I my computer program until recently when my operating system has not been included in the systems they support. I was wondering if there is any way for me to continue receiving support for my program, for instance, for me to receive support for Microsoft Office 200 while running Microsoft Windows 98. I hope you can help me with this dilemma. Thank you.

From my knowledge, Microsoft already stopped the Support Lifecycle Policy for Windows 98. They had just considered it as a Legacy Operating System and would not support updates or problems for it anymore. I suggest you upgrade to at least Windows XP. It is quite stable now with the latest Service Pack 3 for Windows XP. Although XP to have no system support lifecycle, you won’t be bothered because it is quite stable now. Also consider upgrading to Windows 7 if your system can support it. You may also want to consider other alternatives to Windows, Open Source Operating systems like Red Hat, openSUSE, etc.
