With so much noise being made about Apple's new iPhone 5 and Microsoft Windows 8 coming out has anyone heard anything about Safari 6 being released.

Hello Maxine,

The updated version of the Safari web browser – Safari 6 has been rolled out following the release of the OS X Mountain Lion. An outstanding feature in this updated browser is the Smart Search Field, a new search bar that brings together the URL bar as well as the web search bar.

Other important updates in the browser include:

• An offline reading list.
• Support for Baidu Chinese search.
• A Do Not Track feature as well as a password management framework that has been enhanced.
• There is a password pane that enables you to manage the website logins that have been saved.
