Anyone know virus clean privacy?

Hi Experts,

I am having avast anti virus and need to know about virus clean privacy.I do not want anyone get to know that I am  cleaning my pc for viruses.Can this be achieved in virus guard settings.Need not to be tracked.Thanks.

Anyone know virus clean privacy?

Hello Moss,

For anyone to know that you are cleaning your PC for viruses, you will either be doing it online or you will submit reports about the cleaning process to the software center. Therefore, if you want to have privacy when cleaning your system, you will need to make sure that you do the following:

• Make sure that you have installed Avast antivirus on your computer.
• And then when you perform a scan using it ensure that you do it offline. In case the application submits reports about the scan to the internet, you might need to disconnect the computer from the internet.
