iFunBox works both on Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X. You see this error because iTunes is not installed and there is no Apple Mobile Device Driver detected on the computer. To fix the problem, download the latest version from Download iTunes 11.1.5. This version supports Windows XP Service Pack 2 and up, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8.

In case you are running x64 Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8, you need to install the x64 version of iTunes from iTunes 11.1.5 for Windows 64-bit. If you are not using the latest version of iFunBox, you can download the latest version from iFunBox 2014 Beta. It supports Windows 2003, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8.

After installing and or upgrading both applications, try running iFunBox again. It should work this time because the Apple Mobile Device Driver from iTunes is now running in the system.

This seems to be a bug from iFunbox for quite so long now. To fix this, try any of the following solutions below:

1. Try uninstalling and re-installing iTunes and ensure that you will install the latest version.

2. Check if there is an instance of iTunes running in the background. End the process and try connecting your iPod once again.

3. Check on your security software if its blocking iTunes.

4. Lastly, Apple Mobile Device Driver is packed with iTunes so you just need to download the latest version and then extract it using WinRar. After that, drag the Apple Mobile Support Driver into your Desktop and continue with the installation from there.
