I am getting a class cannot be registered error message while using Apple QuickTime. I have been using the Apple QuickTime from past a few months and it has been working well for me on my Windows 7 Ultimate machine.
Today when I tried to click on submit button to it came up with an error message.
“Class not registered – Make sure that QuickTime version 7.04 or later is installed on this machine.”
I haven’t changed any software applications on my machine. I am now confused of how why it is not working today when it was working fine yesterday. Thanks for your help.
Apple QuickTime application does not run
Hi Carol,
Actually it’s a common problem, which occurs always when using Apple application with Windows XP. However, as you mentioned that you didn't change any settings. Then you have to uninstall QuickTime player, then install it again or 7.
N.B: Please make sure that you download Windows 7, the latest version.
If you have another question just tell me. Hope that was useful for you.
Thank you,
James
Apple QuickTime application does not run
Hi Carol,
I have read the problem which you are facing and thought of providing some techniques which might help you resolve this problem.
First of all, the problem shows version 7.04 not installed in your computer. This is a normal problem because Apple usually updates their software regularly, to keep things changing. Now please check the version you are using and if it isn't the updated version, then please uninstall the software from your computer.
After doing that please visit this link and download the latest version of QuickTime which is 7.7.4 in this case. After downloading it, please install it in your computer and now hopefully everything will be in order. I hope I have made myself clear on the portions I have talked about. I hope you will be benefit.
