The Application Compatibility Toolkit (ACT) is a collection of tools that permits you to resolve application compatibility issues.

You can use the Application Compatibility Toolkit to determine whether existing applications are compatible with Windows 7 before deploying the new operating system.

Application Compatibility Toolkit contains following components:

1. Application Compatibility Manager
2. Compatibility Administrator
3. Internet Explorer Compatibility Test Tool
