Hello,

After I made an update to my Windows 7 this error appears every time I shut down my PC. I can’t solve it because I don’t know how and now I have to stay to my PC to click OK, if not my PC won’t turn off. Can anyone help me to fix this error? I will have more error because of this update?

It would greatly help if you did not cover the name of the application at the top of the dialog box so we can better check the program’s compatibility. As with the error, any program can caught an exception error depending on the situation that’s why this error can also be experienced in other software. If this error appears only during shut down and not when you start your computer, try reinstalling the affected application.

The recent update you did might have damaged its configuration and other settings and reinstalling it can fix it. And also, whenever you decide to shut down Windows, make sure to exit all running programs before you actually hit on the “Turn Off Computer” button in the Start menu. Uninstall the faulty program then restart the computer.

After booting, click Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, and select Disk Cleanup. Select drive C and click OK. Check “Temporary files”, click OK, and click Delete Files to continue. Restart your computer again and then install the application back. See if this works.
