Application has generated an expectation that could not be handled

Hi guys

I recently tried to download the web platform application but when the downloading was about to finish, I got an error. The screenshot of the error is as follows:

The message states:

Setup100.exe – application error

Application has generated an expectation that could not be handled

Process ID = 0x154c(5452), Thread ID=0xc98(3224).

 

Click OK to terminate the application

Click Cancel to debug the application

OK Cancel

When I click ok, it closes the program and when I click cancel nothing happens. I have windows xp on my system.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

For these kinds of issues it’s hard to mention the problem exactly. But still you can try few things. First check the compatibility of the software with Windows XP. You might find any support document with the software. Read the document and check them with your software

Which Windows XP service pack it supports?

What’s the required disk space, RAM performance, Processor or VGA performance?

What’s the required .NET frame work (2.0, 3.5, 4.0..)

If all the software requirements are fulfilled by your computer then the software itself might have a issue. Contact the customer support and let them know your problem.
