Application installation error on Vista and XP

Hi,

I have been having problems when installing applications on Windows XP and Vista virtual machines. The error is the same one and is listed below. I have done my research but did not understand any of the solutions. Can someone keep it simple here?

Error “setup.exe is not valid Win32 application” appears

Application installation error on Vista and XP

If this is a program that you are downloaded and you are trying to install it go to that site and download another version with 32bit because this error appears when you have an operating system that runs on 32bit and you are trying to install an application or program for an operating system that runs on 64bit.
