Hi,

My QuickTime has encountered a problem. Have a look at the error message below. It is a problem related to a Windows computer running QuickTime. I have no idea of the error message. If you have any idea of the error message, please help.

Error message:

This application requires QuickTime. Would you like to go to the QuickTime 

website to download QuickTime. Please relaunch the application after installing 

QuickTime.

This application requires Quick Time

That error implies that the file you are about to run requires QuickTime to execute it, QuickTime file format. QTTF is natively a QuickTime File, if you are trying to run a video or mp3 file and you receive that error message it means to say that QuickTime Player is your default player associated with video and mp3’s you can change that by using the “Open With” by right clicking the file and selecting “Always use the selected program to open this kind of file” but if the file you are trying to run is a “.qttf” file then downloading QuickTime is the most valuable solution.

Hi,

If you will encounter error in your QuickTime maybe there is lacking file during your installation or the QuickTime that you use is not compatible to application that you want it to run. I suggest you to download and install a new version of QuickTime after you installing the QuickTime reboot your computer then launch the application you want to play in QuickTime. Hope it will help.
