While reading news on BBC, I came across news that their airplanes were grounded by an error of an iPad application. Why a whole American Airlines rely on an application developed by Apple to run its airlines? Why not they rely on any other software apps developers than that of iOS application developers? How unique is iOS apps compared to other developers?
Are iOS apps developers unique compared to other developers?
IOS is not much different from other operating systems. One main difference being the coding language used. Due to this language being different and there being less Mac users there is also less Mac developers than most any other operating system. With less people being well versed in the coding language this makes Mac much more secure and less susceptible to hackers and viruses. Apple is a well-developed and respected software development company and few users would disagree. There commitment to ingenuity, ease of use, customer service, and concern for user security is unmatched. As far as the news of the iPad application grounding flights I couldn't find any relevant results, sorry.
