I have been planning a birthday party for my twin boys aged 6. I got the idea of setting up a kiddie LAN Party to keep the little ones entertained. I have already downloaded several games. I would like to know if  these kids games for LAN parties be platform/OS sensitive? I have to inform the parents what device could they bring to my kids' party.

That's a great idea for your twins birthday party! Who would have thought about LAN party but only a cool parent like you. With regards to your concern on what device(s) should parents will bring is depending on how large the party will be. If you're just planning to have a small LAN party, all they need to bring is their laptops or tablets with WiFi capability. ON your part; make sure you have a hub, a VPN, and desktop as a game server. Your items will connect multiple devices thus starts a good party. For a large LAN party, you will need a bigger game server and a stable network.
