Are there any war simulation open source engines?

Hi,

I am trying to create a combat advisor to deploy for troops.

I am searching for something that will be similar to war strategy in the simulation field.

Are there any war simulation open source engines?

Hello Goldman,

The only two that I am aware of are the Battlefield Simulator and Delta3D. The Battlefield Simulator is not modern but it provides a nice simulation for strategic purposes. Delta3D on the other hand is much more powerful with a few units and highly customizable. You can try both, but I may suggest Delta3D as it is far more powerful.
