Why doesn't Skype work well with my mobile phone?

Are there some phone models that cannot support Skype?

Are there phone models that cannot support Skype?

Yes, Skype doesn't support every phone models. There are some specific phone models that the Skype is compatible with. Those Phone models are

• Windows Phone
• Android
• iPhone
• iPad
• Symbian

If your phone doesn't belong to one of these families, You will not be able to get the Skype.

However, Skype adds more phone models to its network time to time.

Therefore be on alert.

Are there phone models that cannot support Skype?

Hello Corin,

First of all, for Skype to work, it needs to have internet connectivity, and for that reason if your phone does not have internet connectivity then it will not work with Skype.

Also, Skype only works with the following supported versions: Windows Phone, Android enabled phones,  iPhones,  iPad and Symbian. If your phone does not belong to these categories then it will not work with Skype. But if it does then you will need to troubleshoot problems with internet connection, and after that you can try running Skype and see if it will work.
