Are updates in Google Docs automatically stored?

I need a document that stores real time, and I am thinking about having it in Google Docs, but I'm uncertain if this will do what I need it to do. I've lost too many documents while I am working away and forgetting to hit "save." I want something that will save no matter where I leave off. Will this work and is Google Docs the best place for this?

Yes of course, all the changes and updates are automatically saved in Google Docs. Also this process is always immediate every second, with its real time feature, so that even a sudden power or internet connectivity failure would not result in any data loss. Therefore, Google Docs can be highly recommended for your necessity.

 

Yet, it is worth reminding you that Google Docs has some weak points like the unavailability of the Multi user logging like features, when compared to some other Spreadsheet choices.
