Asking for smart phone emulators ubuntu.

Hi All,
For some days I am using Ubuntu cause I always to experience new things. My friends told me that Ubuntu is a nice operating system. That’s why I migrated into this OS. Lets come to the point. In windows we can find many software which is a rare case for Ubuntu. However I managed to collect some useful software to use. But I could not get any software that can run smartphone apps in Ubuntu. Yes I am talking about emulators. Please give me at least source where I can get smart phone emulators ubuntu. Thanks

I am really glad you like Ubuntu, as it is a very nice and user friendly OS. I don't know what you will use the emulator for, so I will give you a few recommendations to try, hopefully some will suit your needs.

 

You can try an official Android emulator. It was created for Linux developers and can be found on this link: https://developer.android.com/sdk/1.6_r1/index.html.

 

Also, there are plenty of specific emulators, depending on the mobile phones and functions. For the complete list please visit the following link: http://www.mobilexweb.com/emulators.
