ASUS Transformer Prime GPS Extension Kit

The Transformer Prime GPS extension kit was discretely announced on ASUS's member website a freebie Prime owners could rip for registering their slates.

What if I don't like the kit.

Can I ask for a refund or replacement of the unit?

ASUS Transformer Prime GPS Extension Kit

Hi Chad,

Since the GPS extension kit for the Asus Transformer Prime Tables is given away for free to the owners, I don't see how asus would be inclined to refund the unit since it was a free giveaway to the Asus Transformer Prime tablets and replacement will not be possible since the unit is an independent piece of hardware without any other supplementary peripheral.

Yes you can ask for refund as long as your Asus is still cover with the warranty.Although the Transformer Prime is not a professional GPS device, as part of our unwavering commitment to customers we are offering all Transformer Prime owners a free external GPS extension kit, called a dongle, which may help improve signal reception and optimize the user experience. We are pleased to announce this offer as part of our commitment to customer service, but it does not replace, alter or amend any existing warranties you may have.

If you don't like the kit no problem about it,but  the External GPS Extension Kit for the Eee Pad Transformer Prime will boost signal reception on that particular device.

So its really up to you if your not going to get it besides its a freebies so if i were you at least i will give it a try.
