Atego Cloud Backup Windows OS Compatibility
Thank you for your question. You can actually change your operating system in a safe way without getting your data lost. We have to make sure that the files will be saved before you change Windows 98 to Windows XP. There are actually two ways to solve it. First, you can purchase or download a software that can transfer your files from the former operating system to your newer operating system.
Go to http://web.laplink.com/product/pcmover-professional/ pcmover-professional-8 order the software. Follow the instructions on transferring your files. Secondly, you can transfer files manually before you can change the operating system. Save all your files and make a backup for it using external drives and other media storage. I hope these answers can help you solve your problem.
Thank you.
