Hi everyone,
I own an Atheros AR5B97 which is wireless. When I try checking out its properties, I am informed it is enabled with Bluetooth 802.11 high speed. However, I do not understand how to use it, does anyone? Customer care for Acer said my adapter has a built in Bluetooth. I would really appreciate any relevant information.
Atheros AR5B97 which is wireless
Hello,
Are you asking about connecting to the internet using the Atheros AR5B97? So if you only need the corresponding driver, here is the link: http://atheros-ar5b97-wireless-network-adapter.drivers.informer.com/
If you have a Window 7 or Vista OS it should have downloaded and installed the driver in its automatic updates.
Also there are sometimes issues between the WLAN connection with the built in Bluetooth, if you still can’t connect on the web despite having the right and updated drivers, disable the Bluetooth:
Go to my Computer > Click the Control Panel > System > Hardware > Device Manager. Click the Network Adapters > Atheros adapter > under the advanced tab, change to auto or disable the Bluetooth
If you’re talking about the Bluetooth function, searched for its appropriate driver, try this:
https://www.techspot.com/drivers/driver/file/information/15303/
After the installation you will see the “My Bluetooth Places” at the desktop
Hope this helps
Good luck!
