last night i was downloading music and browsing the internet then all of a sudden my computer stop, so i restarted it. When my desktop came up the computer stop again so then i shut it off this time and booted it back up again thinking it was just nothing. Then when my desktop came up in the system tray the soundmax icon had an x through it and said that there were no speakers connected to my computer even though just a minute ago they were working fine. So since then i removed and am trying to install soundmax audio drivers to no avail. Everytime i try to install soundmax it keeps giving me an error saying, "driver not found! reboot your system, and run this setup again." What the hell?! Its funny too because my computer was running fine in college yet now i bring it home it has given me all these weird type of errors, this being one of them. I've tried finding the drivers on the asus website but can't find any and i also tried the intel website but can't find any audio drivers there also. Besides this little error everything else works fine on my computer. So anyone pleace help me for this porblem.

Audio driver not found on my computer.
Hi,
Your computer may have a virus infection because some computer viruses can be disguised as attachments of images, greeting cards, audio and video files which it can be hidden in files or programs that you may download. However, it may also be
caused by hardware or software problems that have nothing to do with a virus. Unless you update and run your antivirus on your computer, you cannot be sure whether it is virus intection or not.Â
After scanning your computer, kindly install the audio driver by accessing device manager. Right click the exclamation icon then choose update then locate your driver file or just run the soundmax driver and follow the driver wizard then restart your computer.

All you need to do is to update your audio driver. Launch the Device manager, and then navigate to the sound, video, and game controllers. Select your audio driver, and then right-click it and click Update driver. If this doesn't work, you will need to manually download the update from the manufacturer website. Simply choose the brand and model of your sound card, and then download it from their website.
