Auto Effect 5.5 error message

Hey everyone, I’m having trouble with Auto Effect 5.5 on my Mac 10.6.5. OS.

When I try running the Auto Effect application I’m getting the following error message:

You have atleast one output module template that refers to a missing output plug-in.

Please check your output Module Templates.

If someone has already encountered this kind of a problem with Auto Effect please get back to me with some info on how to fix it.

The error refers to an output plug-in that is missing. If your application has a missing component, maybe you have an incomplete installation or it encountered a fatal error during one of the previous sessions that causes one of the plug-ins to crash and resulted in permanently corrupting of the file or of the plug-in.

Try checking your hard drive first for any possible error that is causing the plug-in to be detected as missing or corrupted. If you have any disk utility application installed on your computer, run it to check the drive for errors. Run the application again after the disk check. If it didn’t fix the problem, uninstall Adobe After Effects CS5.5 and then install it back. Be sure the installation finishes successfully.
