Auto log in disabled after upgrading to iOS 5

When I am using the older version of iOS, everything is working perfectly fine especially the auto log in feature. I can enter my username and password for just one time and then the system will save them automatically for that pertinent wireless network. It was all set up so I don’t need to enter my username and password repeatedly. But when I upgraded to iOS 5.0.0 and the recent 5.0.1, the auto log in feature is not working anymore.

Whenever I attempt to log in, I have to re-type my account details again and again. I tried changing the settings and change the Auto Fill section into “Name and Password” as well as Accept Cookies section into “always”. I have disabled “auto log-in” and used my browser to log in and re-enable the following. I think I have done everything I know but everything didn’t work. Is this a problem with a connection to iOS 5? What should I do so that I can use auto log-in again without any error? Please help me modify this.

Hello Julia Harvey,

I will suggest that you try using the auto login feature again, just make sure that you have enabled and before you start using it after the configuration restart it first for to refresh the settings.

Also review the ios5 manual and make sure that it indeed supports that functionality in the same way as it was done in the previous version, or there are some additional configurations that you need to make so as to enable it.

In case the problem you will just need to call the apple customer support and let them help you in fixing that error, I am sure they will be helpful.

Hope this helps.
