I have installed AutoCAD Architecture 2012 on my Windows XP 32-bit PC.
It is only a trial version so when it expired, I then installed Autodesk Building Suite Design Premium 2012.
But I cannot run AutoCAD 2012 since the license is not yet activated and followed by an error message that says:
C:Archivos de programaAutodeskAutoCAD 2012 – EngIishacad.exe
adui18res.dll not found.
Acptar
How can I activate Design Suite?
Help please!
AutoCAD Error: adui18res.dll not found
Dear Bobby Adams,
This error is related to the previously AutoCAD trial version installation, u need to remove it completely before trying to install the new Autodesk version. If u tried to copy the missing dll file into its location, you'll get other missing files that r not found too and this will lead u to headaches. Follow this link for a complete removal of installed Autodesk applications .
Try also to remove the Autodesk shared folder from C:Program FilesCommon Files. Some dll files r in use in that folder and so it can't be removed easily. To remove it, start by setting Windows to show all files extensions from folder options. Rename all the .dll extensions to some other extension "eg. OLD" in the Autodesk shared folder and subfolders. U will need a batch file to do this job which simply contains the command: REN *.DLL *.OLD.
Once all the dll files renamed, reboot the system and delete the Autodesk shared folder and try to run the Autodesk installation again.
Hope this may help you.
Best of luck
AutoCAD Error: adui18res.dll not found
It has been one of the AutoCAD's issues that has been reported by many users especially those who used freeware or trial versions of AutoCAD. This error means there is something wrong with the AutoCAD installation. It could be missing file or corrupted. Try the following workarounds to fix this:
Step 1.
Reinstall AutoCAD Architecture 2012.
Uninstall your existing AutoCAD and remove all its components. But take note to install the setup.exe raher than the acad.exe file. Do not download the missing file on any dll download website or it may cause harm or damage to your computer.
Step 2.
Repair the adui18res.dll registry path.
Your OS seems like it cannot find the path to this file because of corrupted registry entry. To do this, download and install registry cleaner such as Ccleaner.
