Hi,
I am about to uninstall the AutoCAD 2008. So that the installation of AutoCAD 2010 will completely install.
But as I reached the control panel add/remove programs the AutoCAD 2008 software was not there! I checked all the programs but I didn't see the software! I've searched the entire system, but it turns into zero result.
Please, I want to know where is the AutoCAD software to be able to remove this, from the program. I cannot uninstall the program, because it's missing.
Tell me what are the options to find the software and uninstall from the add/remove programs?
Thanks.
AutoCad is missing in add/remove programs control panel
Dear Martha,
Â
I can understand your problem.
Â
In case of uninstall AutoCAD icon missing in Add Remove Program then you should use a third party software for uninstall an auto cad or other software's installed in your system.
Â
For Example Windows Installer Cleanup Utility is design my Microsoft for specially uninstall the software's and registry entries.
Â
If you use this utility, you may have to reinstall other programs.

Its look like you has not installed your AutoCAD properly. I want to say that you have not installed it in HOME directory and that’s why it doesn't in your add remove programs.
Now if you want to delete it then you can just do these steps go to your AutoCAD icon and right click it now selects properties and you will see that where your AutoCAD program is installed in this window however you can also click on Find target to go to HOME directory of AutoCAD. I show it here as:
Â
Now when you have found your directory you can delete it from here by just double clicking on UNINSTALL and it is the same process like uninstalling from add/remove program. After un-installation you can also delete the directory of your AutoCAD.
