AutoCad “Unhandled Access Violation Reading” please help!

Each time I try to start my personal copy of AutoCad I receive an error. There is no indication of what caused the error. Can anyone tell me the best way to correct this particular problem?

AutoCad “Unhandled Access Violation Reading” please help!

Dear Hirokim,

You can do any of the following steps to resolve your error:

• Using the command line go to the option of purge registered applications and use purge command.
• Don’t draw on defpoints. This is the most common error encountered when you draw on defpoints. It is not recommended.
• You can also wblock the drawing into a new drawing.
• By using erase commands also you can get rid of this problem. Follow the command line prompts with extreme care. While doing this it is recommended that you do not use a crossing window and follow this method on a read-only drawing.
