Autodesk Building Design Ultimate 2012 unable to Create deployment

Hi to all

I have windows 64 bit installed. I have recently installed Autodesk Building design suite ultimate 2012 on my PC.

I tried to create its deployment, but it fails. I get an error when I am creating a deployment.

The screenshot of the error is attached below:

The error states:

The system cannot open the device or file specified.

C:AutodeskAutodesk_BDC_Ultimate_2012_English_Win_64bitx64en-usRAC2012RAC2012LP.msi

Does anyone has any idea how to fix this issue? I am really worried.

Any help will be highly appreciated. Waiting for your replies.

Autodesk Building Design Ultimate 2012 unable to Create deployment

Hello…

This error appears because of the operating system that you’re using in the computer.

Microsoft Windows vista x64 all Editions (Enterprise, Ultimate, Business, Home premium) and

Microsoft Windows 7 x64 all Editions (Enterprise, Ultimate, Professional, Home premium)

These type of operating systems are not supported when creating deployment for “Autodesk Building Design Suite Ultimate 2012”

To resolve this problem you should use Microsoft Windows XP x64 as your operating system.
