Please help me fix my problem with my Autodesk Inventor 2009.

An error message is telling me that an entry point is not found.

Attached below is the image screen shot for the detailed error message.

I was just opening the application when this message appeared.

Clicking the OK button does not work.

It will just appear again.

Autodesk Inventor 2009: Inventor.exe – Entry Point Not Found

The procedure entry point ?UpdateLicenseInfo@CMLFacade@@SAXPEB_W000HHH@Z could not be located in the dynamic link library MC3.dll.

Please help.

Thanks!

It possible that Autodesk Inventor 2009 crashed and got corrupted the last time it was used.

Maybe you were not aware of it when you close the application the last time you used it. If the application is already unusable because it already got stuck on that error message, try uninstalling and then reinstalling the application.

This will restore all configurations back to default.

You may also want to check your computer for any possible errors it might have. Use a disk utility application to check the system. If you don’t have one installed on your desktop, just use Windows’ disk check tool.

  1. Right-click drive C then select Properties.
  2. Click Tools tab.
  3. Click Check Now.
  4. Check Automatically fix file system errors then hit Start.

For a much thorough diagnostics, use a disk utility application to check the integrity of your system like Norton SystemWorks, Norton Utilities, or PC Tools Performance Toolkit instead of using Windows disk check.
