Hi expert, I need a help. I need an option that will allow an automatic shutdown of Microsoft Access after a set period of non-use. Is there are any suitable plugin for above my need. If you know any specific software or plugin to do the above mentioned process please provide the download link and other instructions. Thank you,

Automatic shutdown of Microsoft Access

 

 

Hi Aimeemorgann,

To create an automatic shutdown of Microsoft Access is a large process.

First we have to create a file in a folder on the server.

Creating the form that will serve to warn the user .This form checks the file on the server at a certain interval. It uses the Timer Interval property and the on-timer event to do this

Automatic shutdown of Microsoft Access

Hello there! How about a free program that shuts down your computer once it goes idle? Its just like the same thing like when your MS Access is not being use for some amount of time, the software will alert you that it will shut down and eventually it will. The program is called Auto Shutdown. Not only it is free, but it is also very light and can portably stored in pen drives. Simply google it and download from different download sites. Cheers!
