Hi guys I use AVG 2011 in my Computer. I have on several occasions noticed that it is the main cause of slow performance of my computer. I tried uninstalling it but it has since refused to quit. Is there anyone with an Idea on how to go about this situation?
AVG 2011 has refused to uninstall
AVG 2011 comes with the uninstaller but often fails to uninstall without the use of the AVG remover which does not come with the installer. The first thing you have to do is to determine if you get the 32-bit or the 64-bit version. After finding out which one you have, look for the AVG Remover file in the internet and simply download it. The file may be found in the AVG website. After downloading it, double click on the file to get it started. Your computer may restart or prompt for shut down in order to complete the cleaning process.
