AVG or AVAST, which is the best?

Someone please help me find the right Antivirus.

I am now using AVG Internet Security 2010. Previously I have used Avast.

But I could not figure out which Antivirus is the best.

Can any expert help me about that?

I want to choose between Avast & AVG and suggest me the best between them.

AVG or AVAST, which is the best?

There are both good and bad sides about Antivirus. Avast is good from some point of view.  But it has also some limitations. AVG also is the same. Here I am describing some facts both about AVG & Avast from my experience. You should decide what is best for you.

AVG is very easy to manage. It also is very easy to update. But it consumes much more RAM then Avast.  So it is better to use Avast rather AVG,  for those who have less than 1GB RAM.

AVG has a great problem; it also detects the generators and if the software is being manipulated.

Avast’s scanning ability is good but it cannot recover virus infected files. But AVG can sometimes  do it.

For internet users AVG is the best. It's online shield is the strongest protection in internet I ever have seen. It also blocks unwanted java scripts and applications online.

Avast is weak for Trojan detection. In that case, AVG is good. AVG has the new graphical user interface, which is really liked by most of the people.

Avast updates very frequently. It sometimes a problem if you don’t have a net connection.

I am now using AVG & I am very happy with it.

AVG or AVAST, which is the best?

AVG is the best  because AVG will rectify virus and will not remove virus files.  Avast directly removes virus files, so sometimes important data will be lost.

AVG or AVAST, which is the best?

AVG 8.5 with Winrar is more powerful if you have them together. But for me AVG has always protected me from viruses I never had any problems with it.
